our beginnings

First opening the doors in 2018, Michael Attridge Design is the creation of a lifetimes work.

Born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, Michael has always been interested in expressing himself through various artistic channels.  He enjoys experimenting with different platforms to convey his creativity, and always take great pride, care and consideration when working on a new project.

He completed his Trade Certificate in Signwriting in 2010 during which he received the apprentice of the year award, and after eight years in the signage industry he joined a colleague to create Ignition Originals in 2014, with the philosophy of standing out by producing original signage designs and quality workmanship at a conscientious price.

Designing had always been his reason to pursue the signage industry. Through his small business, he found the chance to continually design, which reinforced his passion for creativity.  He underwent further education in graphic design when he realised that purely working in signage could not fulfil his design ambition.

Having completed his Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design in 2017, Michael decided to break away from this original business to follow his passion of design. MAD was born, and now his aim as always, is to provide high quality works whilst forever broadening his design style, knowledge, inspirations and experience.
